主動交代病 蘋果股價開市升3％

【明報專訊】蘋果公司總裁喬布斯(Steve Jobs)昨主動解開他過去1年「激瘦」之謎，宣稱這是由於他患上荷爾蒙失調症。喬布斯稱他正接受醫治，並將留任蘋果總裁。喬布斯這次主動交代病，有助消除有關其健康狀、包括癌症復發的負面傳聞，蘋果股價昨晚開市應聲逆市上升3％。
喬布斯在一封致「蘋果社區」的信中稱，他放棄在周二的 Macworld大會上發表演講，導致各種有關其健康的流言蜚語，「一些人甚至亂作故事稱我已躺在病脇等死」。喬布斯說﹕「就像許多人知道的那樣，我的體重在整個08年不斷下降。我的醫生相信他們已找到了原因——一種荷爾蒙失調病症，正『搶劫』我身體裏賴以維持健康的蛋白質」。
增磅治療期間續任總裁
喬布斯稱，他已開始接受治療。「治療這一營養問題的方法相對簡單直接，但就像我不是在1個月或1周內急劇變瘦一樣，我的醫生認為我起碼要到這個春季尾才能增磅。在復元期間，我會繼續擔任蘋果總裁」。
53 歲的喬布斯在1976年參與創立蘋果，後來離開。他11年前重返蘋果出任行政總裁，成功帶領蘋果推出iPod與iPhone等多款熱門電子產品，令蘋果成為潮流品牌。但他4年前因胰臟癌接受手術，近年不斷消瘦，其健康成為影響蘋果股價的一大要素。去年10月3日，網上傳聞他心臟病發，導致蘋果股價在當天開市後首小時急跌5.4％，市值蒸發至少48億美元。
自回巢後，喬布斯每年都會出席 Macworld大會推銷新產品，但蘋果公司上月突然宣布，本周將是該公司最後一次參與Macworld大會，喬布斯更將缺席，分析家紛認為這顯示蘋果的喬布斯年代即將走到盡頭。
喬布斯強調，若真的覺得自己無法再承擔總裁職務，他會第一個「站起來」通知董事會。
